Damn!! I'm so pathetically confused..I'm going to finish my stpm real soon..i need to make my own decision between masscom,marketing and nursing..Well..well...well...it's kindda hard to choose.. i like 3 of em'...SIGH!!>.<"
Okay..so..let's make a proper comparison.. starting with MASS Communication First! :)
IF i would go for masscom..i think broadcasting its good..yea...good...just good...nothing special..
i mean...masscom's student(certs) is everywhere now!! it's so "common" and it's kindda hard to earn a living studying masscom in Malaysia. i got this point of view after reading Belinda's (8tv quickie host) blog!! Viewer in Malaysia prefer "mixed host" those with I'm- not- Malaysian, i-speak-fluent English, I'm-better-than-YOU looks!!I'll be struggling because i don't have good looks and i cant speak fluent English!! cause I'm Malaysian LAH!! We Malaysian punya English very capalang wan LAH..our English is rojak LAH..everyone got the accent..so nothing special...
But...i wanted to study masscom since i was form 4!! SIGH!!>.<"
Never mind,we'll go to the second option...MARKETING!!! :3
I really need to Thank God for the gift of talking none stop where i can easily produce saliva without even drinking H2O...haha..i can talk and talk and talk like there's tomorrow..- trust me!!

But it's a boring course..*dozed off*
Sales its quite fun..i worked in Osim M Sdn Bhd as a sales consultant right after my Spm when i was form 5..the paid is super GOOD!! i was just 17 back then and i earn RM 1200 basic each month!! excluding the commissions and bonus!! I can earn up to Rm1800 every month!! The job was easy..i just need to "consult" people of the product and "make them buy" and of course...i need to hit my outlet target or else the supervisor is going to barbecue me..=X
I worked in OSim for 3 suffering month * kena bully...sniff :( *

I was the Top sales for 2 months!!! yay!! :D
i found it interesting cause u see...I'm good in persuading i guess...heh!!
But for one thing...i think sales person are Liars don't they? hmmph!
So, I'm gonna give a 3 star for studying marketing..^^
Finally!!! i cant wait to talk about NURSING!!! =D :D:D:D
For some people...Nursing sounded as in "yuks...need to wash shit and serve people...PUik! pUik!" But for me...i honestly do thinks that Nurse are of noble rank.. Nurses needs alot of Patience and Enthusiasm *applause and salute to all nurses* winks!! :3
Before...my mum told me that i need clean up their shits, the urinated bed, vomits and whatever disgusting things a patient will do when they are not feeling well..
But i really don't mind doing that..honestly...it may sounds IMPOSSIBLE...
BUT...have we ever think that if everyone have the yuks yuks attitude toward nurses.. Then who is going to clean your pee pee and poo poo when you accidentally Bomb them in hospital? who is going to remind u to eat your colourful medicine? who is going to change your bedsheets? who is going to check your blood pressure? Who is going to take care of you middle of the night working in night shift?? i dunno...but i really have the passion to work as a nurse..and i know its not that easy as ABC..it's about life and death..and great responsibilities.. : (
Before, i always wanted to be someone who is great i wanted to be the best..i want everyone to know who the hell is SHannon Lim...but as i grew older..i finally understand that life ain't that easy..I need to faced alot of circumstances..and the decision i make is very very important..it's about my future..and now..i finally realize that whats more important in life is the love u have for others..In the BIBLE, the greatest commandment that God gave is "Love your neighbours as you Love yourself" sometimes its hard..i mean.. that bitch pulled my hair,grab my bf and u want me to forgive and LOVE her?!! hell...!! Life is Life...and there's only once..Why dont we choose to be someone better and be happy and proud for that? :)

well dear... for me... I think marketing is fun! marketing is not about selling and cheating... It is not a Sales job!! Marketing is about planning and strategy making to be a winner in such a competitive marketplace. Yes, for me, i think marketing is fun and it give me sense of achivement.
But, I do agree you will be more happier if you could be whoever you want to be, like nurse. I should pay my respect to your decisison and you know I will always support you no matter what. However, you should have know that, maybe you think nurse is what you looking for, is the idea job for you. You don't mind to clean people's poo poo and get scolded by impatient patient all this you gonna face to be a nurse..
Mybe for the moment, you don't mind. But how about in long term? you want to do all this same task everyday in ur life? 10 years? 20 years?
I am not saying that not good to be a nurse. But I want you think about it in long term.
If you really think that you want to be a nurse and you not gonna regret, I will be here supporting you anyway, as the way you support me always. =)

hmm...browsing through..
i think nursing is a good job. i remember the time i was in hospital, and the nurses (both male and female) were all very attentive and caring. It certainly alleviated my pain...and you're right, it is a way to demonstrate God's love to others.
i personally wanted to do teaching..but in the end í did engineering. but now i find joy in sharing with others, be it mentoring or teaching or coaching. just that sometimes my patience runs thin very fast...haha
